WordSearch Puzzle App Reviews

I love word search puzzles so i was a bit weary as to how they were going to be able to implement it on the iPhone. As soon as I started to play all my worries were gone. Its the perfect way to play. It accommodates with letters above your finger or below depending on where your finger is so you can see what you are selecting. It is really fun and I highly recommend it. My only little gripe is that you cannot select words backwards and for some reason thats how I find most of my words. If they fix or update this, it would be the perfect wordsearch puzzle.

Old review: since the last update, i cannot access the POD leeaderboards. I love the Daily Puzzle of the Days. But big recent Problem. Please fix the POD Leaderboard bug. Leaderboards are not displaying. Only getting error message. I give 5of5 stars for being a gr8 game but please fix this bug ASAP. --Deez Nuts--

Stuff I love: I really look forward to playing the difficult Puzzle-of-the-Day puzzles I love the cheerful graphics and interface design. I never would have thought they could fit all three puzzle sizes on the iPhone screen but theyve designed it in a way that works  I love that there are so many categories and hope for even more  Problems : Unfortunately, if you find a word but it isnt in the exact spot that the program thinks it is, it doesnt accept it. I have found the same word as often as five times in one puzzle, but the first four versions didnt count. This has happened with 2 letter words up to 5 letter words ("vixen" and "moxie"). And in the cases Ive documented with screenshots, none of the words was fully inside another word. Very frustrating when going for a good time in the Puzzle-of-the-Day race, but it hasnt kept me out if the contest. I still participate Related: It turns out that sometimes the only result the program will accept is when the word ***IS*** completely inside another word. Example: Sometimes a case will occur where, for example, the only version of "berry" the game will accept is the last syllable of "raspberry" etc. And worst of all, today, the server wouldnt accept my Puzzle-of-the-Day score ("small" size). Nor would it allow me to play again. (I havent tried the other two sizes yet today.) Very frustrating. Dont know why this is happening, and dont know what to do about it. Dont even know if it is the developers fault. Overall, thanks for a great experience 

Most likely one of the best word search games on the app store. Lots of categories and endless hours of gameplay. I just got the game and am already addicted.

Really nice app! Great "time waster" with tons of different puzzles and different topics. Recommend this app for anyone interested in word search puzzles, this one is a keeper.

There are three puzzle sizes... small, medium, and big. Big is unplayable because a 19x19 grid without any zoom is too hard to correctly tap on the letters you want. But the other two sizes are very playable, and there are a ton of categories. A very decent game. Add zoom to the big size puzzle and you would have a very solid four star game.

It is a good wordsearch game. Keeps you busy.

It wont let me do the puzzle of the day anymore! I used to love doing them :(

This is a awesome app! Many variations for us who get bored easy. Love the puzzle of the day but...that where my problem is. I just recently updated to OS4 and now I get the message - Cant fetch the puzzle of the day. No Internet connection. Try again later. I definitely am connected to the Internet and can even get the current times for POTD. I still love this app, but really wish I could go back to doing the puzzle of the day. Please fix.... Thanks...

We, too, have the problem with getting the search of the day after upgrading to OS4. This is a really good app and my wife plays it all the time.

Says Im not connected to the internet, which is bogus...this needs to be fixed or a refund issued

Played the lite version of this and liked it. This is a great game but its too small to read sometimes and the words to look for are too small too. If this could be fixed, this could be a really good game. Zoom and pinch please ;)

Very well done word search app. I have several and this is probably the best. Some of the words can be difficult but I love it! Colorful graphics and very easy to use.

Good one but update catergories already

A very good app that is lacking in some biblical categories that would make this five stars. The best word search app and the word search of the day is fantastic. It would be nice to zoom in to the larger puzzle too but not a big deal since I dont use the larger puzzle mainly because its too small. Also, it would be nice to separate your best games into the categories, depending on the one you did. Def the best word search out of the ones I have on my iPod touch. Remember, a couple biblical categories.

This is a really great app because it has lots of categories to choose from. I like it a lot and its the best wordsearch app out there.

It works fine on my 3G, records number of completed games. However on my touch 4th gen., it does not give the number of completed games. Nor does it tell you how many words you have left to find if you exit. It does on my 3G. I may uninstall and see if that fixes it.

Love this game but been having problems lately. Doesnt want to load the pod and doesnt want to give me my scores. They have not responded to my emails. Please fix and update categories.
